Week 2 — What Went Wrong?

Last week we saw the world as God intended it. This week, we see what went wrong. As you read Genesis 3, 4, 6, 11 and Romans 5:12–21, watch how quickly sin spreads—from rebellion against God, to broken relationships, violence, and humanity trying to make a name for itself. But don’t miss the hope woven into the brokenness: God is already pointing toward a Rescuer. This week, ask: How does humanity’s rebellion in Genesis 3 continue spreading through the chapters that follow—and what does that teach us about why we need Jesus?
